Smoked Paprika Hommus
At the 2016 Summer Day Retreat we served our delicious Smoked Paprika Hommus and we're still getting requests from those who attended!
This is a gluten, dairy, sugar free snack packed with protein and healthy fats. It makes a great snack in the afternoon with carrot or celery if your looking for something to push through the 3pm slump.
It is also simple to make and easy to pack if you're traveling or on the road..
Place 1 can of rinsed chick peas, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon tahini paste, 1 teaspoon each of salt & sweet paprika and 2 tablespoons lemon juice in a food processor and process until combined. Add 1/4 cup (60ml) of water and process again.
