We are delighted to have Tarnie joining us at the Weekend Retreat, Finding Stillness. Her last presentation had our group moving, exploring and coming fully alive in our bodies!

Tarnie Blint is a qualified Dancing Freedom Facilitator from Torquay, Australia. Tarnie provides a non-judgemental environment where it is easy for even the most self conscious of us in letting go of our inhibitions, to truly experience the freedom that free-style dance can offer. 

Dance is one of the many pathways towards finding stillness, (which may sound almost impossible) however, it is part of the foundation that ‘Dancing Freedom’ practice is built on. It is the place we arrive after we have danced our whole body alive! We are connected to our Centre. 

Tarnie will guide this easy introduction into intuitive, mindful movement. 

“It is easy to find stillness when we begin moving from the outside toward the inside of our bodies. When we have expressed what is inside of us through the language of movement, opening up our whole body & lightening our load. 

There are no expectations in this dance journey, just that we learn to listen to our own bodies needs in each moment. Part by part, at our own pace, as we keep moving, our whole body begins to breathe & eventually our whole body is dancing, dangling off the structure of our vertebrae, it is all free. The whole body has been acknowledged & accepted. All the systems of the body have an opportunity to co-create in harmony.

We have made our way to the centre of our being in our own unique way. The core, where our Body, Mind & Spirit are aligned & centred… Where we can stand in the eye of the storm…. Not effected by the world around us … Just the observer. Just the witness. There is less mind chatter allowing us to reach that place of stillness naturally. Knowing, that stillness is always there for us when we need it."
